I like reading about animals.

Sometimes reading is hard for me.

When I get stuck on a hard word I try to sound it out.

I am learning about rhyming words.

"I learnt to say the beginning, middle and end of the story, and rhyming words.  It is easy to sound out the letters in the words.  It is hard to read the really big words.  Mrs Wyatt helps me with my reading."

I am learning to use chunking to decode new words.

 " I was finding letters that make words.  I did it all by myself.  It was easy for me."
