Self Portraits

This term Room 9/27 have been learning to sketch a picture of our face.

We practised in our sketch books first and it was a very long process.

First we had to get the shape and size of our head right.  Then we had to work on our features like our eyes, nose, ears and mouth and other details that made us who we are.  Then we added in our hair and neck and shoulders.  It was hard work but we are very proud of our finished pictures which we coloured in using pastels.

Sometimes reading is hard for me.

When I get stuck on a hard word I try to sound it out.

I am learning about graphs.

It is easy for me because the bar and pie graphs are easy to understand.
